About
Ben Hemmerling, born on April 21, 2004, in Sherwood Park, Alberta, is a right winger drafted by Vegas in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Standing 6'0" and weighing 181 pounds, Hemmerling is in his first full professional season after injuries limited him through most of 2024-25. Through 47 games with the Henderson Silver Knights in 2025-26, he has recorded 16 goals and 15 assists for 31 points, and was named the AHL's Upper Deck Rookie of the Month for February after a six-goal, ten-point stretch.
Hemmerling is signed through the 2026-27 season and projects as a middle-six scoring option as he continues his development in Henderson.
