Juho Piiparinen, born in 2008, is a right-shot defenseman selected in the first round (29th overall) of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. Standing 6'2" and weighing 201 pounds, Piiparinen is considered one of the youngest players in his draft class. During the 2025-26 season with Tappara in the Finnish Liiga, he recorded three assists and a +6 rating in 29 games while playing significant professional minutes.
Piiparinen's technical strengths include an elite skating stride, lateral agility, and exceptional poise when managing the puck during breakouts under heavy pressure. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with Vegas on July 15, 2026.
